Format is a “live magazine” initiated by Shumon Basar at the Architectural Association in London. It looks at the shapes that discourse and knowledge takes. Issue 8, titled Self Format, invited guest such as Sophia Al-Maria, Douglas Coupland, Brenda McGetrick, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Jack Self, Olivia Sudjic and Adam Thirlwell.
